Reflection for past three weeks

First lesson, we have basically learn basic cultures in some countries. For example Australia, we can't point a "v" shape using the index and middle finger. When we are consuming soup or anything, we should be scooping out wards instead of inwards. Teacher had also gone through where we might be visiting to, China or Taiwan. It is based on the "luckiest" person in class to pick the "lucky draw". Furthermore, we were taught of the elements of thoughts: Points of view, Purpose of the thinking, Question at issue, Information, Interpretation... Etc.

Second lesson, we were being shown of a vulture waiting to prey on a weak little hunger child who was almost dying of starvation. Afterthat, we had to find a word to describe the picture. Our group had then chose " heartbreaking" when we infer that the photographer was so cruel that he is wiling to wait for the vulture to "action" instead of helping the child. It was too late for the photographer to bring the child to hospital after taking a "perfect" shoot. Although the photographer get a reward for being able to capture the best photo, but he couldn't escape from his conscience, hence, he committed suicide.

The other picture shown on that day was two beggars, a man who is physically disabled and a woman who was carrying "her baby ?" out on streets begging. If we were given a chance to choose who we help , our group decide and chose to help the woman as she looked more pitiful than the guy. But the fact is, actually the man just want a lending hand from us to get back on his feet. But the woman had to give an organization the money she begged when she had only received a small bit of the total sum. I realized then, there were quite numbered of "fake" beggars laying on the streets, hence, we shouldn't randomly give money to them. Nowadays, I found out that Internet had EVERYTHING.

Hence, the second lesson is a lesson I found most meaningful and personally learnt the most since we had done the a lot of research on the vulture.
